“Bloom were back and this time they worked with our Year 8 cohort to provide a truly wonderful experience where our students were encouraged to connect to nature through their senses. A carousel of highly practical workshops based on Earth, Water, Fire and Light were designed to invite students to listen to the voice of creation and participate in collaborative tasks throughout the day. Not only did the day provide students with a renewed sense of wellbeing but also developed  inter-personal skills such as communication, creativity and confidence, all much needed for the future of work.

Jane and her team helped our students realise the importance of having harmony in nature and by the end of the day Year 8 were pledging to take action for the common good and to be real stewards of creation. A marvellous opportunity for children to be outdoors connected to each other and the natural world around them. Highly recommended for drop-down days, curriculum extension or Enrichment Weeks.”

“What helped me tune into nature today was smelling the rosemary. I thought I could live more in harmony with nature by taking a break from screens and discover more new things about nature.”

“Today I experienced how you can taste different types of natural food and how delicious it tasted compared to processed and chemical food..”Year 8 pupil

“Finding patterns in leaves and flowers helped me see the beauty in nature and discovering more about scents also let me find the original life of nature.”
